We are leading the way on sustainability at Chilwell Retail Park and in the surrounding environment and seek to provide tenants and visitors with information on ESG-related issues plus opportunities for action to create positive change.
Biodiversity
8 bird boxes and bug hotels have been installed onsite to bring nature into the park.
A goal is in place to increase levels of planting of native species by 50% over the next five years.
Lavender and berry bushes have been planted to attract bees and improve biodiversity.
Energy / Carbon
100% of our electricity in public spaces comes from renewable sources like wind and solar.
Energy-efficient LED lighting has been installed across the carpark, reducing both energy and carbon.
100% of waste from public areas is diverted from landfill.
